The North London attractions are often a bit off the beaten tourist track, and instead, you’ll find yourself among ordinary Londoners. Kentish Town City Farm is a good example of this, being a real cornerstone in the local community. Freightliners Farm is another iconic North London city farm, where you can enjoy a piece of the countryside in the city.
On Hampstead Heath’s Parliament Hill you can enjoy a wonderful view of London’s skyline. This is also one of our favourite places for kite-flying in London as its almost always windy! The Heath is a real piece of nature in the middle of London, giving you a feeling of being far out in the country. Alexandra Place is an institution when it comes to activities for London, with an all year ice-rink, Go-Ape adventure playground as well as several play areas. Near Stoke Newington, you can enjoy V&A Museum of Childhood, which is free to enter. Here you can have a look at toys of bygone ages and the museum is very much child-friendly.
