Forth Hall is a secret gem on the outskirts of London where you can enjoy picnics, countryside feel, historical value, gardens and farm life. The manor house is a grade 1 listed Jacobean House which located in a beautiful 18th-century garden. The landscape around the manor house includes an Ornamental lake, medieval fishing ponds and streams, a walled garden, Pleasure grounds, Georgian and Victorian flora and fauna, lakes, lawns, and meadows.

Education at Forth Hall Farm

Just like Brooks City Farm, Forty Hall Farm is run by Capel Manor College. In this way, the farm serves as an educational resource for Capel Manor’s students. There are both part and full-time courses available within areas like animal care and countryside management. If your child is interested in a career involving animals, this might be an excellent opportunity to speak to one of the students or teachers.

Sustainable food

There is a big focus on sustainable food production. The farm plays an essential role in the local community, organising several groups such as the Forty Hall Community Vineyard and the Forty Hall Farm Orchard. There are often events, open days and festivals such as Christmas wreath making at the winter farmer’s market.

Forty Hall Farm’s motto is to make fresh, healthy produce more accessible to people living locally.
