With 50 interconnected trampolines, the Oxygen trampoline park at the O2 arena promises a lot of fun for kids. In addition to the more traditional trampolines, you’ll find an obstacle course, foam pit, basketball hoops, dodgeball and a giant airbag. We took the trip to Oxygen testing out our jumping skills!

Frustrating enrollment process

Thinking that we could show our ticket and get jumping, we were a bit surprised about the extensive process that we had to go through. First of all, the queue for the check-in was long, and it felt like taking forever. Then, once we had finally shown our tickets, waivers needed to be signed, belongings tucked away in lockers, safety instructions explained.

And then there are the unique trampoline socks that you are forced to purchase (unless you bring your trampoline socks). Most of it made sense, but I guess it’s all about expectations. I can’t remember if it was clearly stated to be there 30 minutes early, but this is recommended not to lose out on your whole time slot. By booking in advance, you can also save some time by signing a waiver online.

Good to finally start jumping

After going through the lengthy and frustrating enrollment process, we were finally ready to get jumping! Our first impression of the facilities was excellent; everything looked new and in good condition. Our initial frustrations were quickly forgotten once we started jumping, and it was a pleasant surprise that it was enough space for everyone to have their trampoline. Nice to do an activity that everyone in the family can enjoy, even if the toddler was falling more than actually jumping – at least to begin with.

Trampoline Sessions with Toddlers

Note that you can also book special toddler sessions for under 5 called “Little O Toddler”. These sessions are considerably cheaper than ordinary tickets. It’s also worth googling for discount codes if you are booking regular tickets.

Going to a Trampoline Park in London is a great activity

Overall we had a wonderful time. Then again, jumping on a trampoline is a kind of basic type of fun that it’s hard to go wrong with. We feel there is room to streamline the intake process to avoid frustrated people before getting to the activity, especially when it’s their first time visiting. It’s all about setting to right expectations.

Other attractions around the Oxygen trampoline park

If you a show with your kids at the O2, the trampoline park can be an excellent combination. Just calculate enough time so that you won’t be running late. Overall we probably took a good 2 hours from we started to queue up until we were out of the door again, and we only had some water and a light snack.

Greenwich is not far away, where you can enjoy the Maritime Museum and Greenwich Park Playground. If you are into farm animals like us, you might want to check out Mudchute Farm on the Isle of Dogs nearby. We have enjoyed taking the Emirates Cable Car “Airline” nearby as well. Finally, if you want to enjoy height in the open air, the O2 roof walk is remarkable for kids above 8 years old.
