We created a map of London’s best playgrounds and reviewed them to make it easier to plan your day out. The playgrounds vary a lot in terms of types and quality, but we have tried to pick the best ones based on our own hands-on experience as a London family.
In London, you’ll find all kinds of playgrounds ranging from million-pound investments in state of the art adventure gardens to worn-out neighbourhood play areas. This will probably never become a complete listing of all playgrounds in London, but we will try to pick the best and most relevant ones based on location, quality and popularity.
As an example, while St James Park playground is on the smaller side, because of the prime location and the historical context of the park we have added it to our list. Our aim is to provide you with an easy to use playground overview that helps you plan your day out with children in London
Our reviews of London playgrounds are based on our honest subjective review after visiting with our children. If not clearly stated, the reviews have never been sponsored in any way except for the occasional affiliate link that will be included.
If you feel we have missed an important playground to add to our list, please let us know through the comments section or the contact page.
